Plans have been approved to build 44 new homes in Aviemore.
The Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) Planning Committee has given the go-ahead for 30 new flats and eight terraced homes to be built to the north west of Aviemore, while six 'affordable' homes will be built at Dellmhor, beside the Ski Road at Inverdruie.
Cairngorm Properties Ltd will deliver the units in north west Aviemore, while Albyn Housing Society will build the housing at Dellmhor.
CNPA Planning Committee Convener Eleanor Mackintosh said: "Time and time again we are asked about affordable housing in the Cairngorms National Park so I am particularly pleased with the outcome today, securing 15 new affordable properties. Both of these sites are well located and the plans before us comply with the current Local Development Plan policies."
