GMB Union offshore employees working in the North Sea near Scotland have accepted a new pay offer from the Offshore Contractors Association (OCA).
The revised deal was accepted by 54% of members after workers voted to strike following the rejection of a previous offer.
Despite welcoming the new deal, GMB National Officer Ross Murdoch said the narrow yes vote margin "should highlight to the offshore contractors that they still have a dissatisfied workforce".
"GMB members had voted in favour of industrial action on the previous OCA offer," he said.
"Therefore, as we move towards the 2018/19 pay negotiations, GMB calls on the OCA and its signatory employers to recognise this, and come up with a meaningful offer that reflects a rising cost of living."
