Progress is continuing on drawing up designs for a town centre redevelopment project in Haddington, East Lothian.
The scheme, which involves the council, Haddington Community Development Trust and SUSTRANS, aims to build on proposals set out in the Vision for Haddington Town Centre report 2012.
Residents are now being invited to input their ideas to ensure the plans 'address local needs and secure success for the future'.
Two drop-in events will be held to give opportunity for all those with an interest to be involved in the process;
• Haddington Town House Main Hall, 3pm – 7.30pm, 14 September. The session will explore a strategy for the town centre and start to develop ideas and proposals.
• Haddington Town House Main Hall, 3pm – 7.30pm, 31 October. This event will ensure everyone is agreed on the approach being taken for improving public spaces, as well as reviewing final options and considering preferences for features of public spaces such as seating and materials.
