Residents are being invited to attend two housing surgery events later this month in Argyll and Bute.

The meetings will enable residents to get information and advice on housing issues.

The sessions will take place as follows;

• Dunoon; 11am – 3pm, Foyer, Dunoon Hospital, Tuesday, 19 September.

• Bute; 11am – 3pm, Fyne Homes Board Room, 11 Victoria Street, Rothesay, Thursday, 21 September.

Cllr Robin Currie said: "These drop in events are a great way for people to get information and advice on a wide variety of housing issues.

"Whether they want to find out how to apply for a house, want to know which grants are available or want to discuss the condition of their existing property, there will be someone on hand who will be more than happy to help.

"It's important that events like these take place in our communities to ensure that people are given the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and to find out ways that we can help them."
