Work is to start on a £150,000 road network improvement project in Methil, Fife.
The council will begin resurfacing the town's High Street for around three weeks from Monday, 11 September.
The scheme will be carried out in three phases starting at the junction with South Street and ending at the junction with Station Road. For safety reasons, work will take place between 7.30am to 5pm.
Cllr Altany Craik said: "We’re spending nearly £8 million this year repairing and improving the roads in Fife.
"Our road network is vital to support economic development, inward investment, tourism, leisure and travel to work. Almost everyone in Fife uses our roads on a daily basis, which is why this type of maintenance work is so essential."
