More than 200 new homes are to be built in Rattray, Perth and Kinross.
The £29 million scheme will be delivered by Springfield Properties behind the existing Springfield Kinloch Gardens development.
The house builder will develop 217 new homes off Glenalmond Road and construction is scheduled to start before the end of the year.
Previous plans were withdrawn last month following feedback from the Council. The new approved proposals include more landscaping around the boundary of the site and an additional 75 visitor car parking spaces, bringing the total parking for the development to 493 spaces.
Springfield Properties Managing Director Innes Smith said: "This is the first time we will be building the Alba house styles in Rattray. They surpass current Building Standards. They are well insulated and are fitted with an energy efficient heating system that is better for the environment and will reduce energy bills for our customers.
"Over the course of construction at our Kinloch Gardens development in Rattray, around 50 people have been employed on this development, the addition of these 217 homes means continued support of these jobs for approximately seven years."
