Dundee-based electrical firm Scottish Electric Group has been placed into administration with the loss of nearly 100 jobs.
Vasanat International Ltd, which traded as Scottish Electric Group, appointed accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael as provisional liquidator last week.
It is understood the group had been facing "prolonged cash flow pressure".
Donald McNaught of Johnston Carmichael said: "Our main objective going forward will be to preserve value in the Scottish Electric Group's remaining assets to maximise the return to creditors.
"Unfortunately, the process has resulted in job losses and we will work with the relevant government agencies to ensure employees are provided with the appropriate support."
