Work is to start on a water mains infrastructure upgrade project in Edinburgh.
The four-week scheme in Forrester Park Avenue and Gardens will get underway on Monday, 28 August.
To carry out the project, Scottish Water has advised residents some road works in the area will be necessary.
Scott Fraser Scottish Water's corporate affairs regional manager, said: "This work is part of a wider programme across Scotland to improve customers security of their water supply, and reduce the overall risk of burst mains in the network.
"During the works, we may need to turn off customer's water supplies. If we do information will be sent directly to customers affected at least 48hours in advance detailing the dates and times that supply will be affected and what to do."
