Work on a new £32 million student accommodation complex in Glasgow is now complete.
The 536-bed Foundry Courtyard development features a gymnasium, cinema room, study pods and social space with a games area, together with a secure private courtyard, basketball court and an external gym trail.
The facility was built by Balfour Beatty on Kennedy Street. It will be managed by accommodation provider Fresh Student Living, with the first students set to arrive later this month
Ian Woosey, Investment Director for the student accommodation sector, Balfour Beatty Investments, said: "We are looking forward to welcoming the new students to their new accommodation for the start of the academic year.
"The feedback we have had from the students who are viewing and booking into the new facilities is that they love the stylish communal areas and are looking forward to enjoying the generous outdoor space between the buildings. The accommodation truly offers a variety of amenities to enable students to enjoy every moment of their education."
Jane Crouch, Managing Director of Fresh Student Living, said: "We are delighted to be managing Foundry Courtyard on behalf of Balfour Beatty, offering an excellent range of en-suite accommodation from shared flats to penthouse studios with great views."
