Moray Council is to vote later this week on whether it will approve the Elgin Transport Strategy.
If approved, the scheme could see improvements such as the widening of footpaths and cycle lanes, junction improvements, a redesign of Elgin bus station and the creation of a new railway crossing for vehicles.
Public drop-in sessions, questionnaires, social media and stakeholder consultation events were all used to help form ideas for the strategy, with input also gathered from developers and community bodies.
Overall, the recommendations are split into short, medium and long-term plans and are designed to develop the network in line with Elgin growing.
