Sharon Berrie, Shelter Scotland Glasgow Community Hub Manager, added: "Our new Glasgow Community Hub opens against a backdrop of increased numbers of people sleeping rough, more people needing crisis grants and a drastic lack of truly affordable housing across the city and Scotland as a whole.

"For many people times are hard and their homes are under threat, especially in light of harsh welfare reforms, stagnant wages and insecure jobs which are leaving many more people in need of our services.

"For those who do need our help, our team is on hand to do whatever we can to help not only the people of Glasgow, but everyone in Scotland who may need our expert advice services."
