A £230,000 road resurfacing project is to begin in Fife.
The council will start repairing the A914 between St Michaels and the Lucklawhill junction by Balmullo from Monday, 07 August.
The two-week scheme involves implementing a road closure and traffic diversions will be in place.
Cllr Altany Craik said: "We maintain over 2,400 km of roads in Fife and we're spending nearly £8 million this year repairing and improving them.
"Our road network is vital to support economic development, inward investment, tourism, leisure and travel to work. Almost everyone in Fife uses our roads on a daily basis, which is why this type of maintenance work is so essential."
