Paisley-based Clark Contracts has secured an industry accolade at the 2017 Construction News (CN) Awards.
The company won the 'Training Excellence Award' during the ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The award was given to Clark Contracts in recognition of it's work with Glasgow Caledonian University to develop a new Masters programme and the work of its Academy on e-learning, mentoring, supply chain initiatives and developing bespoke skills assessments for apprentices.
In the same period, the company also achieved Gold accreditation as Investors in Young People and the President's Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, said: "It's the first time we have entered the highly prestigious CN Awards and so we are extremely pleased have been successful on our first attempt. It's great recognition for the work of our Academy which is totally focused on attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent in our industry."
