SGN To Begin Gas Main Replacements In South Lanarkshire

Work is to start on a gas main replacement project in South Lanarkshire.

Scottish Gas Networks (SGN) will begin carrying out the scheme at Cadzow Street (from Auchingramont Road to Muir Street) and Muir Street (from Lower Auchingramont Road to Montrose Crescent), Hamilton from Monday, 31 July. Completion is scheduled for Friday, 08 September.

The project will be carried out on a phased basis;

• Cadzow Street, Monday, 31 July to Friday, 18 August (road closure).

• Muir Street westbound, Friday, 18 August to Friday, 8 September.

A signed diversion route will be in place on Lower Auchingramont Road and Muir Street.
