Scotland TranServ To Begin £150,000 Resurfacing Scheme

Scotland TranServ is to begin a £150,000 road resurfacing project in East Ayrshire.

The scheme will see 1.3km of the northbound A76 between Bowhouse Roundabout and Bellfield repaired from Friday, 14 July to Sunday, 16 July.

In order to carry out the work safely, the road will be shut for two nights and traffic lights will be implemented through the Sunday daytime before being lifted at 6pm.

Lee Donnelly, Scotland TranServ's Project Manager on the scheme said: "We will work across the weekend in order to reduce disruption to local commuters and businesses using this busy route. The investment is designed to tackle issues with potholes and cracking on this stretch of the trunk road, and is part of a phased approach in this area."
