Plans have been unveiled to build 73 new apartments in Edinburgh.
Luxury aparthotel brand Roomzzz is set to expand into Scotland with its Roomzzz Edinburgh scheme, set in the £1 billion Edinburgh St James development.
Features include building 73 luxury apartments, from smart studios to luxury penthouses, set in a boutique hotel theme. A rooftop terrace and balconies will be developed in each apartment, including fitted kitchens and complimentary Wi-Fi.
In addition, Roomzz is set to open it's aparthotel in London later this year,while additional sites are planned for Liverpool, Manchester Corn Exchange and York.
Naveen Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Roomzzz, said: "Set to become the city's hottest new retail destination and with excellent transport links, the Edinburgh St James development is the perfect location for the Roomzzz brand to launch its first aparthotel in Scotland. Our expansion into the Scottish capital is a significant milestone for Roomzzz as we look to grow our successful portfolio of luxurious aparthotels across the UK."
The £1bn St James development is to become Edinburgh's most popular retail hub, featuring 86 new shops over four floors, 20 restaurants and a flagship Everyman Cinema. Completion is scheduled for 2021.
