Network Rail will repair and strengthen two structures over Ayr Road in Mauchline. Work will begin on Monday, 19 June and will be ongoing until Friday, 04 August.
The scheme is part of Network Rail's UK wide railway upgrade plan and is needed every 25 years to extend the structures' lifespan, as well as ensure their safe operation of the railway infrastructure.

Features include steel strengthening, metal work repairs and work on the bridge's masonry.
To carry out the scheme safely, the road will need to be closed to traffic overnight for five nights from 11.30pm on 20 July to 7am on 25 July. Diversions will be in place.
Billy McKay, Network Rail programme manager, said: "We appreciate that temporary traffic lights on any road are inconvenient. However, this is the most efficient and safest way to undertake the work required on the bridge.
"Delivering this work on both of the two adjacent bridges, in just 6 weeks is a logistical challenge but we have planned the job carefully with our contractors and will complete it with the minimum possible inconvenience to the local community."
