Road maintenance works are to begin on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) project.
Engineers will start carrying out road surfacing works to and on the new bridge at Charleston on the A90 from Friday, 26 May. Diversions and traffic management will be in place.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "These works have been timed to minimise the impact they may have on road users. Football fans returning to the north east after the Scottish Cup Final, for instance, will be pleased to learn that the A90 will remain open until 10pm on Saturday 27 May so that they can travel home without having to negotiate a diversion at Charleston.
"However, we would like to encourage road users who need to travel through or nearby this area over this weekend to plan their journeys in advance so they can reach their destination safely and on time."
