Work is to begin on a £250,000 road improvement project in Fife.
Breedon Aggregates will start carriageway resurfacing on the A915 Standing Stane Road from Monday, 22 May.
The project is being carried out in three phases and diversions will be in place;
• Phase 1 - Work on Windygates roundabout with junction closure on A916 into Windygates
• Phase 2 - Work on Cameron roundabout with junction closure on B932 to Methilhill
• Phase 3 - Work on A915 under temporary traffic signals and convoy.
David Brown, Service Manager for Network Management said: "We maintain over 2,400 km of roads in Fife and we're investing nearly £10 million this year repairing and improving them.
"Our road network is vital to support economic development, inward investment, tourism, leisure and travel to work. Almost everyone in Fife uses our roads on a daily basis, which is why this type of maintenance work is so essential."
