Link Group has unveiled plans to build 3,200 new 'affordable' homes in Scotland.

The company is doubling its development programme expenditure to £401 million in response to the Scottish Government's call for 50,000 new affordable homes by 2020.

Between 2016/17, the Group completed 332 new homes, with 200 delivered in each of the previous six years.

Two thirds of the forecasted new homes will be built for social rent, contributing towards tackling Scotland's affordable housing requirement.
