Kingdom Housing Association (HA) has submitted plans to build 16 new 'affordable' homes in Inverkeithing.
The organisation plans to build the new housing at Manse Road in a largely residential area to the west of the town centre. The 16 homes will be centred around an enhanced new 'community green' playpark and public space.
7N Architects have designed the project on behalf of Kingdom. The company worked in collaboration with Rankin Fraser Landscape Architecture on the proposals.
Bill Banks, Kingdom Group chief executive, said: "We believe our proposals will help address the high demand for affordable housing in Inverkeithing and will give local people the opportunity to access high quality affordable housing. The site is in an excellent location and will prove extremely popular."
Mr Banks added if the plans are approved, construction work could begin in early 2018.
