Work is to start on a bridge maintenance scheme later this summer in Angus.
The council will begin carrying out essential repair and maintenance work to Gannochy Bridge (B966) near Edzell from the start of July.
The five-week scheme will include bridge pointing, remedial works to the existing parapet and the installation of bridge tie bars. Diversions will be in place while the road is closed.
In addition, the council is inviting residents to find out more information about the project at the next Edzell Village Improvement Society public meeting at Inglis Hall on Wednesday, 26 April.
