Aberdeen-based Wood Group has strengthened its senior team by appointing Grant Angus as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Specialist Technical Solutions business.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Mr Angus previously joined the energy services company as group head of internal audit in 2012.

Beforehand, he spent 15 years in the professional services sector working for KPMG and Deloitte; latterly as a director focusing on the energy and utilities sector providing risk management, assurance, merger and acquisition support, and advisory input for a range for clients.

Bob MacDonald, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wood Group's Specialist Technical Solutions business, said: "Grant will play an integral role in supporting our ambition to grow and enhance the innovative technical solutions we provide globally across an ever broadening range of sectors.
