Wood Group Scoops £6.3m Contract

Aberdeen-based Wood Group has won a new $8 million (£6.4m) contract to help support TPC Group's manufacturing facilities in Texas and Louisiana.

The three-year deal will see the company serve as TPC's main automation contractor providing automation, technical, systems, process, software, fabrication and construction support to the company's manufacturing facilities in Houston and Port Neches in Texas, as well as at a terminal in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Bob MacDonald, Wood Group's Specialist Technical Solutions Chief Executive Officer, said: "This new contract with TPC to act as their main automation contractor reflects this client's confidence in our ability to provide innovative technical solutions that will increase the productivity and efficiency of their operations."
