Plans have been revealed to expand facilities at Dunbar Station in East Lothian.
The scheme involves developing a new platform to provide additional capacity, as well as building a new footbridge with lifts.
As part of the project, a number of community drop-in events will be held later this month to provide residents with more information about the schemes.
Details of these events are as follows;
• 3.30pm – 7pm at Bleachingfield Community Centre on Wednesday, 19 April.
• 3.30pm – 7pm at Dunbar Railway Station waiting room on Tuesday, 25 April.
Network Rail said as it develops the design and its delivery programme, it will provide the public with updates on progress. To help inform this, the company will be carrying out surveying and investigative works to assess ground conditions.
It is expected a delivery contractors will be appointed during 2018.
