Private landlords and agents are being invited to attend a free Open Day event next month in Stirling.
The Private Rented Sector (PRS) Open Day and Conference is an opportunity for landlords and agents to meet key figures in the region's PRS, as well as to gather information and seek advice.
Attendees will including the council, PRS housing teams, the Empty Homes Officer, Shelter's ‘Letting Agent Plus' project, SEPA, Home Energy Scotland and representatives from approved tenancy deposit schemes.
In addition, Stirling National Heritage will also be in attendance discussing their traditional buildings health check scheme, while Landlord Accreditation Scotland will be presenting a session looking at recurring areas of interest from their national training programme.
Other highlights include Representatives from the Scottish Government and Scottish Association of Landlords speaking about the new Private Residential Tenancy and the first-tier Tribunal for Scotland, while an Housing and Property Chamber expert will discuss the Repairing Standard and explore real-life case studies.
The event will take place from 1.30pm – 4.30pm at the Albert Halls on Tuesday, 09 May.
The council's Director of Localities and Infrastructure, Alastair Brown, said: "We've already had significant interest from local private landlords and agents about this event - last year we had over 100 delegates in attendance, who were keen to hear from experts and share best practice."
