East Lothian Council has appointed akp Scotland to its medium value Construction Works Framework.
The four-year scheme involves the delivery of planned refurbishment and alterations, as well as new build and extensions to library's, public buildings, schools, community buildings and sports pavilions.
Managing Director, Ian McEwan, said: "We're looking forward to working with East Lothian Council and the combination of the akp's regional office network, carefully assembled specialist supply chain members, and extensive experience across the full spectrum of public services facilities means we will be able to assist East Lothian Council in successfully delivering improvements across their estate and ultimately contribute to optimum outcomes for the council and community."
Since opening its Edinburgh office nearly three years ago, akp has built a strong track record within the Education and Commercial sectors, working with the University of Edinburgh on multiple projects and clients including the Scotch Whisky Association and the Green Investment Bank.
