Contractors George Leslie Ltd are continuing work to build a new £3.3 million railway crossing in the Highlands.
The new structure in Muir of Ord will replace the existing bridge carrying the A862 over the main Inverness to Dingwall rail line.
Preparations for the demolition of the existing bridge are well under way, with the old bridge expected to be removed this coming weekend. Work to level the structure will be carried out by a specialist contractor overnight from 25 – 27 March.
Work to complete the adjacent footpaths and roadworks including fencing, new street lighting, signs and landscaping are also underway, with all works expected to be completed by early June.
