Work has started on a new housing project in Stirling.
The council is developing four one-bedroom and four two-bedroom cottage flats in two blocks, on the former Riverside swimming pool site.
The James Street development will be built to the latest energy efficiency standards, with completed flats benefiting from solar photovoltaic panels and battery storage. In addition, all ground floor properties will be wheelchair accessible and benefit from off street parking.
Cllr Violet Weir said: "Riverside is a very popular area with a high demand and I welcome this development to add to the already completed bungalows in Edward Avenue."
The scheme is scheduled for completion by Christmas 2017.
