Work on a new affordable housing development in Fife is now complete.

A total of 27 homes have been built by the council's Building Services team at Rosslyn Gardens in Kirkcaldy.

The development ranges from one-bedroom flats to two- or three-bedroom homes, including two wheelchair accessible bungalows.

During the scheme, Building Services apprentices also worked on the site and had the opportunity to learn key skills to progress their career in construction.

Cllr Judy Hamilton said: "This is a very exciting phase of the Affordable Housing Programme. The first few years, we were identifying opportunities, consulting with communities, developing plans and planning permissions. But now, we are seeing the delivery of fabulous new housing and talking and listening to tenants delighted with their new homes."

The council has pledged to deliver 2,700 new affordable homes by May this year.
