Housebuilder Roy Homes Ltd has entered into administration, with the loss of 17 jobs.
The Inverness-based developer, along with its sister company Roy Homes Timber Frame Ltd, closed up after what administrators FRP Advisory described as "severe financial problems".
FRP partner Iain Fraser said: "The Roy Homes brand is a well-known across Scotland, and is highly regarded for the quality of designs, construction and full service package. Unfortunately, the businesses ran into severe financial problems and administration was the only option."
Founded in 1979, Roy Homes supplied a full design-to-build service for self-build timber homes. Roy Timber Frame Ltd was founded in 2011 and supplied timber frame kits to its parent company.
