Glasgow-based consultancy Carbon Futures has appointed David Russell as its new director.
With over 15 years' experience in the residential sector, Mr Russell will take up his new role in March.
He will join fellow director Andrew Money to lead the energy and sustainability consultancy as it helps deliver a variety of projects throughout the country.
Previously, Mr Russell held the position of Associate with architectural practice Anderson Bell + Christie for 12 years.
Speaking on his new role, Mr Russell said: "I admire all that Carbon Futures stand for and feel that my experience in the residential sector will assist the company in achieving its goals for growth. I look forward to collaborating with Andrew and the industry on meeting the governments carbon reduction targets in the most economically viable way possible for our clients."
Mr Money added: "I'm delighted to welcome David to Carbon Futures. He offers a wealth of knowledge in construction generally and has a great desire for developing low carbon, sustainable solutions which will be of direct benefit to our clients."
