The Highland Council has extended the deadline for comments on the draft Landscape Appraisals to guide wind energy development.
The deadline has now been put back to 31 January, 2017.
Two landscape sensitivity appraisals are currently being consulted on; one for the Caithness study area and another covering The Black Isle, surrounding hills and Moray Firth Coast.
The reviews are the next stage in an appraisals programme for areas in Highland under pressure for wind energy development.
