TechnoNICOL has announced plans to expand into the United States via its newly acquired Scottish base in Stirling.
The Russian-owned roofing and insulation group purchased Superglass earlier this year.
The company has now set up a new division to focus on securing business opportunities in the US, as well as the UK and Irish markets.
Ken Munro, Superglass's Chief Executive Officer, has become Chief Executive Officer of TechnoNICOL (UK, Ireland & USA). In his new role, Mr Munro will be responsible for managing and coordinating TechnoNICOL's presence in these regions, as well as continuing to lead the Superglass business.
Sergey Kolesnikov, President of TechnoNICOL International, said: "We are excited by the international growth opportunities TechnoNICOL can now pursue and are pleased to be able to appoint someone with Ken's leadership capabilities and experience to manage all of our activity in these strategically important regions."
Mr Munro added: "The integration of Superglass into the TechnoNICOL family represents a significant step forward in the development of our business and opens up new opportunities, both for our people and our customers.
"I look forward to leading the integrated business across these geographies and to managing the expansion of Superglass as a key insulation brand within it."
