A £2 million apartment block redevelopment project has been completed in Inverclyde.
The new Cartsdyke Apartments, in the east end of Greenock, have received a series of improvements from River Clyde Homes.
Improvements carried out on the 12-storey block include new insulation, triple glazed windows and an eco-friendly, energy efficient heating system. In addition, the foyer and landings have been revamped to provide a welcoming environment.
A new CCTV system and door entry has been installed to provide a secure living environment.
The homes have been upgraded to the Association's Silver Living standard, which is designed for the over 60s and offers independent living.
Jillian Moffat, Vice Chair of the River Clyde Homes Board, said: "Silver Living is an initiative that comes in response to the changing demographics of Inverclyde.
"We have an increasing older population and suitable properties, particularly in the East End of Greenock are in short supply.
"These 2-bedroom homes have been refurbished to a high standard and comprise a separate living room and kitchen, a modern bathroom with a level access shower."
