McTaggart Construction has begun building a new £3.4 million housing development for Link Group in West Dunbartonshire.
The contractor is delivering 30 new homes for social rent in Clydebank. Completion is scheduled for August 2017.
Each unit will meet Link's Design Guide, Housing for Varying Needs and Secured by Design Requirements.
The Group has been involved in regenerating Clydebank during the past eight years, having previously provided 134 new and improved homes at Jellicoe Street, Castle Street and Beardmore Place.
Chief Executive, Craig Sanderson, said: "We are delighted to have been supported by the Scottish Government and West Dunbartonshire Council to enable us to build these new, high quality homes which will continue to play a part in the area's regeneration. It also concludes our programme to honour the commitments we made to the local community and tenants when we merged with Gap Housing Association in 2000."
Cllr David McBride added: "We are committed to improving local housing throughout West Dunbartonshire and delivering high quality affordable housing for our residents. We are delighted to support this development by Link which is creating 30 new homes in Dalmuir and helps meet the needs of our communities."
