A new £8.1 million primary school has been unveiled in Dundee.
The new Sidlaw View Primary was built by Robertson Tayside and opened on Tuesday, 25 October.
It will form part of a campus with Jessie Porter Nursery and will include the replacement for Baldragon Academy when it is complete.
Up to 400 pupils will be accommodated in the new two-stream facility, which includes a dining and assembly hall, a production kitchen, a gym hall, offices, and drama and music provision.
Opening the new school, Cllr Stewart Hunter said: "This is a very special day for everyone connected with Sidlaw View Primary.
"The provision of a high quality learning and teaching environment for young people is an important part of these efforts. These buildings provide a new focus for the community and are a great source of pride for local people."
Kevin Dickson, regional managing director at Robertson Tayside, added: "Pupils entering Sidlaw View can look forward to learning in modern, light and spacious surroundings.
"The school's opening marks an important milestone for the Harestane Road site, which will also play host to Baldragon Academy."
