An office redevelopment scheme worth over £720,000 is set to begin next month in Dundee.
A tender for the project in Shore Terrace will be considered by councillors at a meeting on Monday, 31 October.
Works include altering and sub dividing the former housing offices which face onto the recently-opened Slessor Gardens.
Four units would be created for potential new restaurant and café businesses, with partial fit out of one of them to provide amenities including kitchen extract, ventilation and air conditioning.
Cllr Will Dawson said: "With the opening of the V&A and the ongoing development at the Waterfront the city is likely to become an even bigger attraction for visitors.
"There has been a tremendous reaction to the opening of Slessor Gardens and we are witnessing massive investment in the city for the future.
"These units will have a stunning outlook to the Waterfront and I am sure will prove popular with visitors and locals alike."
