Elderpark Housing Association (HA) has purchased a former school site in Glasgow from the city council.
The former Hill's Trust School in Govan was acquired from City Property (Glasgow) for over £283,000.
Plans for the site include refurbishing the two-storey B-listed building to create a new office for Elderpark HA. The structure had previously been converted for use as a business centre but is currently vacant.
The scheme will be delivered alongside a £12 million residential redevelopment project being carried out by the housing association.
Councillor George Redmond said: "The sale of this building brings a number of benefits to Govan and indeed the whole city, with new offices in a listed building; a new and sustainable use for a building that had lain vacant; and help deliver the next stage in a regeneration project that will bring new jobs and services to the local community."
