Wood Group has secured a four-year framework deal with oil and gas company Wintershall Norge AS.

The Aberdeen-based firm will tender for the provision of modification and maintenance services for Wintershall's assets in the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).

The agreement has two three-year extension options and is effective immediately.

Robin Watson, Wood Group Chief Executive, said: "We will bring our depth of knowledge of the Norwegian sector to this new contract with Wintershall Norge where our focus will be on working collaboratively with our client to deliver maintenance and modification services, which enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their assets."
