Energy services firm Wood Group has secured a engineering services framework agreement with DONG Energy.

The Aberdeen-based company will support DONG's oil and gas assets across three continental shelves in the UK, Denmark and Norway.

Features of the four-year deal includes front end development, maintenance and modifications, engineering, as well as late life and decommissioning services for both topsides and subsea facilities.

Robin Watson, Wood Group's chief executive, said: "Wood Group's strong and diverse technical services, which span the full breadth of the asset life cycle, have secured us this agreement to support DONG Energy across their oil & gas portfolio.

"We will leverage our broad capabilities, in-depth knowledge and longstanding experience working in these three continental shelves, to support this new client."
