Work on essential carriageway resurfacing on the B922 Cluny to Kinglassie double bends has been rearranged to begin on Monday, 05 September, Fife Council has announced.
The £120,000 project was due to commence on Monday 29 August however it has been delayed to 05 September. The work will still be completed within two weeks, according to the council.
For the works to be undertaken safely and to comply with Health and safety legislation, the road will be closed with diversion routes put in place.
Access for local people will be maintained however there will be no through access.
Local residents will receive a letter in the next few days with more detail on local diversions and access.
The council apologised for any inconvenience caused by these essential works and thanked the public for their patience and co-operation during the works.
