The Royal Institution Of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has strengthened its Scottish team by making two new appointments.
The organisation has selected Gail Hunter as its new Regional Director in Scotland and Archie Rintoul FRICS has joined as Chairman.
Ms Hunter is the former Regional Account Manager for RICS in Scotland and took over the position of Regional Director after the departure of Sarah Speirs.
In addition, Mr Rintoul took over as RICS Scotland's Chairman in June 2016 and has been involved with with organisation for a number of years.
He has worked in the affordable housing field for many years and was a member of the RICS Scotland Housing Commission, which reported in 2014.
Speaking on her appointment, Ms Hunter said: "I am delighted to be appointed during what is a very important time for the industry in Scotland and throughout the UK. We will continue to working closely with stakeholders, RICS professionals and the Scottish Government to ensure we can meet the needs of the built environment in Scotland."
