Morrison Construction is continuing to work on a £8.2 million community campus project in South Ayrshire.
The contractor has erected the steel frame for the new Tarbolton Community Campus and the development is on schedule to open in early 2017.
The facility is to accommodate over 300 pupils and will include sports, leisure, library, and meeting room facilities.
Work is now underway to develop the buildings exterior and the front of the campus will be extensively landscaped to provide car parking. In addition, work will begin to ensure the campus is accessible from all parts of Tarbolton.
Cllr Margaret Toner said: "In the space of just a few months the project has been transformed from a blueprint design to a recognisable building.
"This investment will have a significant impact on this rural community, with the campus providing modern educational facilities for generations of children as well as providing a valuable local focal point."
