Balfour Beatty is to commence a harbour repair project in Moray.
The seven-week scheme will improve the structural integrity of Portknockie Harbour and will get underway on Monday, 15 August.
Repairs will be carried out to the north pier and north pier jetty, Macdonald's pier and the harbour's entrance jetty. Works include pressure grouting and bag work repairs, deck slab repairs, wall stabilisation works, mortar repairs, bed level concrete shuttering and repairing concrete spalling.
Depending on weather conditions, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
A council spokesperson said: "Harbour users are being asked to navigate with caution while the work is being carried out and part of the north pier will be closed off to the public."
