East Ayrshire Council is inviting residents to submit their views on Dalmellington's Conservation Area.

As part of plans to create a new Draft Dalmellington Conservation Appraisal, the public are being encouraged to have their say before the document is finalised and published.

The blueprint will guide future development opportunities and planning applications in the Area.


The council's spokesperson on Planning, Councillor Jim Roberts, said: "Dalmellington has a rich architectural history, and it's important that we do everything we can to look after our old buildings for future generations to enjoy.

"This consultation is a great chance for people to learn more about the town and also shape its future with any input and suggestions they may have."
