Robertson Tayside has entered the final phase of a £8 million primary school construction project in Dundee.
The new Sidlaw View Primary School is scheduled to open after the school holiday in October.
The building will form part of a campus including Jessie Porter Nursery and the replacement for Baldragon Academy.
The two-stream school will accommodate up to 400 pupils and includes a dining and assembly hall, a production kitchen, a gym hall, offices, and drama and music provision.
Kevin Dickson, regional managing director, Robertson Tayside, said: "The new Sidlaw View primary school will be a modern and spacious learning environment, with every care taken to ensure it meets the requirements of pupils and staff.
"Delivering the project alongside the new Baldragon Academy building is helping ensure crucial efficiency savings, both during construction and in the long-term operation of the schools."
Cllr Stewart Hunter added: "Completion of the new Sidlaw View Primary is a milestone on an exciting journey that will also see Baldragon Academy replaced. Everyone connected with these schools is excited at the prospect of a stunning new campus that will help inspire our pupils for generations to come."
