The LEADER Programme has provided £15,000 towards a community regeneration scheme in Falkirk.
The £45,600 Shieldhill Butterfly Project aims to transform an empty grassed area into a new garden for local groups and activities.
The Kelvin Valley & Falkirk LEADER funding will be used for a number of features including a new surrounding fence and wall, new paths, information boards, new seating and planters and new decking.
In addition, outdoor murals and features to attract wildlife will be developed.
Cllr Dennis Goldie said: "The project will help see a real transformation in the Shieldhill community and the combined efforts of everyone involved have to be recognised."
