Shetland Island residents are being invited to submit their views on the future of a school site in Lerwick.
The Knab Campus is to become vacant towards the end of 2017, once the new Anderson High School and Halls of Residence are complete at Staney Hill.
A draft Development Brief for Knab Campus' future has been drawn up and the council is urging residents to "have their say" on the sites future.
Early plans include creating a residentially compatible, mixed-use development on the 6.5 hectare site. The Development Brief will be followed by a 'masterplan', which involves further engagement with the public on such matters as specific uses, design details, layouts, open space and landscaping.
Cllr Alistair Cooper said: "The Knab Campus site in Lerwick has considerable character and history and offers a significant development opportunity when it becomes vacant. I would urge anyone who has views on the draft Development Brief to put them to the Planning Service to help us create development guidance for this site, which will formally become part of the Local Development Plan."
