Significant progress is being made on a new housing development in Fife.

The Fife Council development on the Carnock Road includes 32 new homes for rent and the new properties are being delivered in partnership with Allan Water Homes.

The project includes one-bedroomed cottage flats to five-bedroomed homes, as well as ground floor flats and two bungalows for individual needs.


Councillor Judy Hamilton, Fife Council's Executive Spokesperson for Housing & Building Services said: "Housebuilding is picking up pace as we enter this very exciting phase of our Affordable Housing Programme and I was delighted to be at Carnock Road with Ward Councillor, Cllr Bob Young, to meet with tenants, delighted with their new homes - and to see the progress on the completion of this development. The houses are modern, fit for purpose, and energy efficient homes, delivering on our commitment to warmer, drier, healthier homes which aim to tackle fuel poverty and improve living standards."
